Organic Ceramics & Sculptures

Renan le Boulc’h was born in Saint Brieuc, Brittany, and graduated from Penninghen College of Art and Design in Paris (former Académie Julian). He moved to London in the early ’90s to work in new media. He now lives in the South of France, and his work has changed to reflect organic, natural forms from the sea and the land; this led naturally to studying various ceramic techniques in Vallauris.
For the last fifteen years he has been making tactile work of art, full of life and flame. Light, clarity, movement: these are the artist’s chosen themes.
